Jomsom muktinath trekking

Jomsom Trek

Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is one of the most interesting treks for the people who visit Nepal for the first time. Since Annapurna trekking trail has been opened World Heritage Treks & Expedition (p) ltd taking many tourists in jomsom muktinath area. The trekking route passes through green hills, mysterious Buddhist monasteries and Thakali villages. The entire region opens out in all its serenity, grandeur and is set amidst the splendor of snow-clad peaks and presents picturesque scenery. Annapurna trekking area has much different trekking part but jomsom muktinath is famous for pilgrim's tourist as well! Jomsom Muktinath trekking commences with a 30 minute early morning flight from pokhara to Jomsom, the major trading center in lower Mustang.

Jomsom muktinath treks is Entitlement on the boarder of Upper Mustang trekking. From Jomsom, we head north to Kagbeni along the river side way of Kali Gandaki an ancient fortress s Kagbeni has many interesting aspects and its ways of life have changed little although some rather inappropriate concrete lodges which have been built over the last few years hardly compliment what is otherwise a lovely little place. Jharkot village has in the main managed to retain its traditional way of life. Rather than spending overnight at Muktinath (which over the years has become bland) we retrace our steps for an hour or so to reach Jharkot village.

Jomsom Muktinath trekking not only popular for trekking, both hindu and buddhist pilgrimage trekkers also participate for jomsom muktinath trekking as it is most popular both Hindu & Buddhist. The following day is a four hour hike through arid country up to the Muktinath temple. The terrain here gradually gives way to the Tibetan plateau providing some fascinating rock formations on route.Jomsom mukti nath treks is Easier and enjoyable trips in Annapurna region we can see Tibetan plateau as well!
