Ganesh himal trekking

Ganesh Himal Trek

Ganesh Himal Trekking starts from Trisuli, small town west of Kathmandu . At Nuwakot the palace of late Prithvi Narayan Shah is situated, the first Shah king of the present ruling dynasty. The name Trisuli comes from the river Trisuli (famous for rafting due to fast flow). Along the trail one can find different trees and green woods, passing through Tamang, Gurung & Brahmins villages. From Borang beautiful sights of Ganesh Himal can be seen. The Borang villagers are different then other people because still some are doesn't speak Nepali language as well. At the Base camp of Ganesh Himal there is a tin mine. From Yarsa good views of Mt. Annapurna , Mt. Manasulu and Ganesh Himal can be seen. Then the route follows the Budi Gandaki River to Arughat Bazaar. The ending point of the trek would also be the historical palace of Gorkha Durbar.
